In the near future, an upgrade is set to take place at Turtle Creek Casino & Hotel.
On Monday, Grand Traverse Resort & Casinos made an announcement stating their plans to commence significant hotel renovations at Turtle Creek from September 6 onwards.
The completion of the 10-week renovation project is planned for mid-November.
Turtle Creek hotel renovation plans
The renovation of Turtle Creek will involve upgrading the hotel, including a makeover of all 137 guest rooms.
The rooms and suites will undergo a modern amenities upgrade, featuring interiors with accents inspired by Native American design.
The hotel rooms will undergo a complete redesign, with the addition of microwaves and refrigerators to enhance the list of amenities available.
The casino and hotel staff, together with first Fuller Design located in Grand Rapids, will oversee the creative direction of the rooms and suites’ renovations.
The lobby of Turtle Creek will undergo renovations to feature three front desk portals and a pleasant open-air lounge. Additionally, a Creek Boutique will be introduced, where guests can find branded merchandise as well as travel and convenience items.

Turtle Creek Casino still open during renovation
During this 10-week project, rest assured that the casino floors at Turtle Creek Casino will remain open for frequent guests.
Despite the closure of the hotel, guests will be instructed to go to the sister property, which is the Grand Traverse Resort and Spa, conveniently located just a five-minute shuttle ride away.
The completion of the project is anticipated within a span of 10 weeks, leading to its unveiling in mid-November as per officials’ expectations.
