By the end of the year, a minimum of six additional Michigan poker players will secure free entries to the Bahamas in January for the $25,000 PokerStars Players Championship (PSPC), joining the three already victorious.
PokerStars MI has organized three qualifying periods, running from Nov. 1 to Dec. 9, wherein participants can compete to secure a spot on the respective leaderboards. The top 300 players on each leaderboard will be granted entry into an exclusive freeroll event. This event holds the opportunity to win one of two coveted Platinum Passes, each valued at $30,000.
You have an opportunity to win a Platinum Pass regardless of your position on the leaderboard. Whether you are in first place or 300th place, you will still receive an entry to the freeroll.
The PSPC tournament will take place from January 30th until February 3rd, 2025, with an entry fee of $25,000. This event is a component of the extensive PokerStars Caribbean Adventure (PCA) festival, consisting of 70 events, scheduled from January 22nd to February 3rd.
PokerStars offers the Platinum Pass as a means of rewarding its players, granting more than 400 packages annually. Valued at $30K each, PokerStars will distribute Platinum Pass packages worth a staggering $12 million in total.
Each package includes:
Purchase entry to the PokerStars Players Championship (PSPC) for $25,000.
The prize includes a luxurious six-night hotel stay for the winner and a guest at a prestigious 5-star hotel.
Airport transfer
$1,900 expense money
During the event, the Platinum Pass Winner had unforgettable experiences.
Everyone, regardless of winning a Platinum Pass or not, is still welcome to participate in the PSPC and all other events throughout the festival.

About the PSPC and PCA
Since 2004, the PCA has established itself as a prominent poker festival worldwide, and in 2019, it introduced the PSPC to its repertoire. The PSPC, with numerous entries awarded, has become one of the most lucrative $25K buy-in tournaments annually.
The PSPC of 2019 attracted 1,039 participants, resulting in a prize pool of $26.4 million.
Ramon Colillas, the fortunate winner of the Spanish Platinum Pass, managed to transform his complimentary entry into a staggering $5.1 million prize and consequently earned the esteemed title of PokerStars Ambassador. Even earning a minimum cash prize of $25,450 in 2019 is considered a remarkable return for a freeroll. Additionally, the fully covered trip to the Bahamas, taking place during the chilly Michigan winter, is certainly a delightful perk!
Additional events listed on the schedule vary in price, with a range of $330 to $250,000. Onsite, satellite events have a starting price as low as $30.
