The man from Dearborn Heights decided to try his luck by playing some numbers online, believing that he had purchased only one ticket for a summer drawing. Surprisingly, he later found out that he had actually played those winning numbers twice, resulting in him doubling his winnings.

On June 9, Samir Mazahem, 56, discovered something thrilling when he checked the app – as stated in a press release by the Michigan Lottery. He had successfully matched the five white balls, which were 01-05-09-10-23, and this brought him immense excitement.
To begin with, he stumbled upon the fact that the matching numbers resulted in a million-dollar reward. Subsequently, he realized that he had inadvertently played twice instead of just once.
Mazahem clarified, “I purchased a ticket online by utilizing my family birthdays as the numbers.”
