Who is favored to win the Preakness?
According to oddsmakers, Medina Spirit is considered a strong contender for the Triple Crown as the 1-1/2-mile Belmont Stakes approaches next month. Out of the 10 horses participating, Medina Spirit currently holds the lowest odds at 9-5. The post positions were determined on Tuesday.
Medina Spirit is set to start from the third position, which hasn’t been favorable in recent history. Back then, Cloud Computing surprisingly emerged victorious. Crowded Trade appears ready to follow a similar storyline as another contender from Brown’s stable.
Despite lacking an impressive training pedigree, Rombauer recently achieved his highest speed figure in the Blue Grass Stakes. However, bettors who choose to support him must disregard his winless record of 0-3 on dirt tracks.
Out of the three horses currently at odds of 15-1, Risk Taking appears to have the most favorable position. This Brown horse, also belonging to the Brown team, displayed potential in the beginning of its career but has encountered difficulties since then.
