Who is favored to win The Belmont Stakes?

Rombauer, under the guidance of Michael W. McCarthy, will be accompanied by John R. Velazquez as the jockey. While McCarthy aims for his inaugural Belmont victory, Velazquez has already achieved triumph twice in the Belmont, with his most recent victory occurring in 2012 aboard Union Rags.
With 15 Belmont winners, the third position holds the second-highest record, surpassed only by the first position (24 winners).
Other contenders to keep an eye on
Hot Rod Charlie, with 7-2 odds, is considered one of the top contenders. This colt has emerged victorious in two out of its eight career races. Notably, it secured a commendable third place in the Kentucky Derby and claimed victory in the Louisiana Derby.
Rock Your World, standing strong at 9-2, emerges as another prominent contender. This young colt has triumphed in three out of its four races in 2021, showcasing exceptional potential. Yet, it faced a significant setback with its sole defeat, finishing a distant 17th in the Kentucky Derby. Guided by the skilled jockey Joel Rosario, a two-time champion who steered Sir Winston to victory in 2019, Rock Your World possesses a promising partnership.
Make sure to watch out for Bourbonic, who will be starting from the esteemed first position as mentioned before. Throughout its career, Bourbonic has triumphed in three out of seven races. However, in the Kentucky Derby, it landed in the 13th position. It is worth noting that Trainer Todd Pletcher has already secured victory in this race three times, with his most recent win being with Tapwrit in 2017.
