At 8 p.m. ET on Saturday, the Big Ten Championship Game will feature a matchup between No. 2 Michigan and unranked Purdue.

Purdue (8-4) emerged victorious in the Big Ten West, whereas the Wolverines (12-0) claimed the championship title in the Big Ten East.

Michigan is making their second appearance in the Big Ten Championship Game, having emerged victorious in last year’s match against Iowa with a score of 42-3.

Getting to Lucas Oil Stadium

To reach Indianapolis when departing from Michigan, you need to travel in a southerly direction.

If you are coming from the north, the Indianapolis Colts’ home advises taking I-65 South and exiting at 114 (Martin Luther King Jr. St./West St.). Then, continue south until you reach South St. You will find the stadium on your right.

If you are traveling from Michigan, it is highly probable that you will pass through, around, or have to traverse one of these four major cities in order to reach Indy.

  • To reach Ann Arbor, follow these directions: Head south on US-23 and then merge onto US-24 West. Continue onto I469-South until you reach I-69 South. Stay on I-69 South for 96 miles and merge onto I-465 South. Take exit 44 to merge onto I-70 West, which will eventually connect with I-65 South.
  • To reach Ann Arbor from Detroit, take I-75 South until you reach exit 204 for I-475 West towards US-23. Continue on I-475/US-23 South until you reach US-24 West. Follow the directions provided by Ann Arbor from that point onwards.
  • To reach Lansing, head towards I-69 South and continue on that route until you reach I-465 South. From there, proceed following the directions to Ann Arbor.
  • To reach Grand Rapids, take I-196 West until you merge onto US-31 South. From there, connect onto I-465 West and proceed with the directions to Ann Arbor.

To ensure a smooth experience amidst heavy gameday traffic and ongoing construction projects, Lucas Oil Stadium suggests arriving at least three hours prior to kickoff for Colts games. This will provide ample time to navigate in and around downtown.

The gates will be open two hours before the game starts.

Parking at Lucas Oil Stadium
