The FireKeepers Casino 400 will take center stage on Sunday afternoon, capping off a bustling weekend of racing at Michigan International Speedway.

- Qualifying for the ARCA Series is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. ET.
- NASCAR Cup Series Practice is scheduled for 12:35 p.m. ET.
- NASCAR Cup Series Qualifying is scheduled to begin at 1:20 p.m. ET.
- The NASCAR Xfinity Series New Holland 250 is scheduled to start at 3:30 p.m. ET.
- The ARCA Series Henry Ford Health 200 will take place at 6:30 p.m. ET.
Sunday, Aug. 7
- The NASCAR Cup Series FireKeepers Casino 400 is scheduled for 3 p.m. ET.
In addition to the race schedule, MIS will host infield concerts on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights for those staying at the speedway. Furthermore, a variety of games and activities for children and families will be available every day.

FireKeepers bringing in Joey Logano
FireKeepers Casino Hotel has organized a special event on Friday as part of their sponsorship with the race.
NASCAR driver Joey Logano will be available for a meet and greet at Dacey’s Sportsbook & Taphouse on Friday, between 5:30 and 7:30 p.m. Dacey’s is conveniently situated within FireKeepers, with a separate entrance exclusively for the sportsbook and taphouse.
Logano, a previous champion of the NASCAR Cup Series, has achieved three wins at MIS throughout his career in the Cup Series. Notably, he has secured two victories in the FireKeepers Casino 400.
In addition to the meet and greet opportunity with Logano, FireKeepers will also be presenting exclusive prop bets for Sunday’s race at Dacey’s and their online sportsbook.
Chase Elliott favored to win FireKeepers Casino 400
There is a high chance that the odds for Sunday’s race will experience changes after the practice runs and qualifying sessions this week.
Currently, Chase Elliott holds the position of the frontrunner for Sunday’s victory. He is listed with odds of +600 at both FanDuel Sportsbook MI and DraftKings Sportsbook MI.
Right now, Kyle Busch (+650), Kyle Larson (+700), and Denny Hamlin (+750) are considered to be among the top contenders for victory.
Erik Jones, a native of Byron, has odds of +2500 to win on Sunday, while Brad Keselowski, hailing from Rochester Hills, is considered a longshot with odds of +10000. Despite their home advantage, neither driver has managed to secure a victory at their local track in the Cup Series. Keselowski, however, has come close to tasting victory multiple times, finishing as the runner-up on several occasions.
FireKeepers Casino 400 history
Starting in 2021, Michigan reduced its hosting capacity for the NASCAR Cup Series season from two races per year to just one.
The inaugural NASCAR Cup Series race at Michigan took place in June 1969, known as the Motor State 500.
Since 2016, FireKeepers Casino has been an official sponsor of an annual MIS race. In the past two years, despite the reduction in the number of races to one, they have retained the naming rights.
