How to play live dealer craps at Michigan online casinos
If you are new to craps, the game may seem overwhelming at first. However, with a deeper understanding, it can also prove to be quite lucrative.
While our guide comprehensively covers all aspects, it is essential to grasp some key information right from the start.
The basics
The game of Craps commences by placing bets on either the pass line or the don’t pass line. A designated shooter then proceeds to roll the dice, which is referred to as the come-out roll.
If the dice show a total of seven or 11, all pass line bets will be paid. However, if the total is two, three, or 12, the shooter will lose the game. In this scenario, pass line bets will be lost, don’t pass bets will be paid, and a new shooter will begin the game anew.
In case the shooter rolls any number apart from the come-out roll, that particular number will be considered as the point. The shooter will persist in rolling the dice until they either hit that same number once more or roll a seven, resulting in a loss.
After establishing a point, players have the option to place odds bets behind the pass line or don’t pass line bets, within the game’s maximum limit. Remarkably, these bets do not carry a house edge. Consequently, the maximum allowable bet greatly influences the game’s desirability and potential profitability for you as a player.
When the shooter successfully rolls the point before rolling a seven, all pass line bets and odds bets receive a payout, while all don’t pass and odds bets result in a loss.
Available bets
The Pass Line bet is a winner if the initial roll results in a seven or 11, while it loses if the roll yields a two, three, or 12. Additionally, this bet is successful if the established point is rolled before a seven is achieved.
The “Don’t Pass” bet is the inverse of the pass line bet. This wager is considered successful if the initial roll results in a two or three. However, it results in a tie if a twelve is rolled, and it is deemed unsuccessful if a seven or eleven is rolled. Moreover, this bet also triumphs if a seven is rolled before the previously established point.
Arrives: This bet becomes available after the point is established and functions similarly to a pass line bet.
The “Don’t Come” bet is identical to the “Don’t Pass” bet and becomes available once the point has been established.
If doubles are rolled, the hard four, six, eight, or ten bets will pay out at a rate of 7-1 for the hard four and ten, and 9-1 for the hard six and eight.
Betting Options: You have the opportunity to place bets on any of the six numbers that can be established as points. If the number you bet on is rolled before a seven, you will win according to the corresponding payout schedule: Four and 10: 9-5, Five and Nine: 7-5, Six and Eight: 7-6.
Lay Bets: Additionally, you have the option to place bets on a specific number to not come up, with the condition that a seven is rolled before that number. The payouts for these bets are as follows: For numbers four and ten, the payout ratio is 5-11; for numbers five and nine, it is 8-5; and for numbers six and eight, it is 7-5.
The Field bet is a wager that wins when any combination of two, three, four, nine, ten, eleven, or twelve is rolled. If a two is rolled, the payout is doubled, and if a twelve is rolled, the payout can be either doubled or tripled.
If a two, three, or 12 is rolled, Any Craps bets will be paid out at odds of 8-1.
If two ones are rolled, betting on Aces can yield a payout of up to 33-1.
The Ace-Deuce bet offers a maximum payout of 16-1 when a three is rolled.
In Yo/11 betting, a payout of up to 16-1 is offered when both a five and a six are rolled.
Midnight/Boxcars: Betting on two sixes being rolled can yield a maximum payout of 33-1.
Big Red offers a payout of 4-1 for rolling any seven.
