BetMGM Poker Michigan is all set to introduce the latest edition of its highly sought-after BetMGM Online Series as we step into a fresh month. Scheduled from October 24th to the 31st, this month’s series comes with an impressive total of $230,000 in guaranteed prize pools.

The buy-ins vary, starting from the $20 “Mini” event held on the first Sunday and culminating in a thrilling $1,060 event on the last Sunday, commencing in the late afternoon on Halloween.

The tournament with a minimal entry fee guarantees a prize pool of $10,000. However, by Tuesday afternoon, over 1,800 participants had already registered, causing the prize pool to reach nearly $33,000. In the previous September edition of this event, approximately 2,400 individuals entered, resulting in an impressive prize pool of almost $43,000.
BetMGM Poker MI hopes to match or exceed previous series high
The BetMGM Online Series was hosted on the site for the sixth time last month.
In August, the highest amount of money ever awarded in a single BetMGM Online Series was over $432,000. This remarkable sum was won by players across 11 events, marking the only occurrence where the series consisted of 11 tournaments instead of the usual 10.
In September, the total amount fell slightly short of the second-highest total of approximately $360,000 earned during the inaugural BetMGM Online Series at BetMGM Poker MI in April.
Another heads-up battle between BetMGM Poker MI and PokerStars MI
PokerStars Michigan will be offering some competition on the day when this month’s BetMGM Online Series begins. On October 24th, PokerStars MI will host its own exclusive event, the Michigan Classic, featuring a two-day, $300 buy-in tournament.
During the previous BetMGM Online Series, the competition intensified as the only two online poker sites in Michigan, PokerStars MI and BetMGM, went head-to-head. This clash took place alongside the Michigan Championship of Online Poker (MICOOP) event.
In September, a total of 68 events were granted nearly $1.79 million by the MICOOP.
In the meantime, both platforms are patiently observing to determine the launch date of WSOP.com’s Michigan site, which would introduce a third participant to the online poker scene in MI.
