With the conclusion of the World Series of Poker in Vegas, Michigan online poker players can now divert their focus to the newest event: the BetMGM Poker Summer Classic.

Following the BetMGM Poker Championship held in late June at ARIA Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, this online series has been launched.
Joey Weissman emerged as the champion, walking away with a grand total of $224,236 in prize money.
Steve Bayyouk and Ryan Shinevare from Michigan earned $19,757 each by securing the 11th and 12th positions, respectively. They both qualified through BetMGM Poker’s online platform. However, Benji Felson from New Jersey, who finished fifth, was the sole online qualifier to surpass their rankings.
