The figures, which were disclosed on Tuesday by the Michigan Gaming Control Board, indicate a predictable and ongoing slowdown in MI online sports betting following a robust start during the winter season. However, a significant increase in activity is anticipated during the upcoming football season in the fall.
FanDuel Sportsbook remained the frontrunner, dominating the market with a sports betting handle of $71.2 million, securing a 30.0% market share. BetMGM Sportsbook claimed the third spot with $51.6 million and a market share of 21.7%, while Barstool Sportsbook settled for fourth place with $18.2 million, representing a 7.7% share.
