In the month of July, FanDuel managed to secure a 29.0% share of the Michigan market by generating $54.5 million in online sports bets.
DraftKings Sportsbook held the second position, accumulating a total of $53.4 million in bets, which accounted for 28.4% of the market share. Following closely behind was BetMGM Sportsbook in third place with a handle of $41.0 million, representing a market share of 21.8%.
Despite experiencing a challenging period, Barstool Sportsbook managed to break its losing streak and actually gained market share for the first time.
Barstool had a strong start in January, capturing a market share of 23.9% during the first 10 days of wagering. However, the company faced difficulties in subsequent months, experiencing a decline in market share to 13.3% in February, 11.0% in March, 9.9% in April, 7.7% in May, and 7.1% in June.
