WSOP Michigan Online Bracelet Series schedule
During the 2022 WSOP, Michigan poker players can anticipate intense competition for a bracelet on Sundays, which are renowned as the busiest days in online poker.
Online bracelet events have buy-ins that span from $400 to $1,000, with half of them being priced at $500. Among these events, the BIG $500 stands out as it will bestow the first-ever gold bracelet in the history of WSOP Michigan on June 5.
There are several noteworthy events scheduled for this summer. These include a $500 PLO 6-Max tournament on June 19, a $1,000 Online Bracelet Championship on July 10, and a $777 Lucky 7’s Second Chance event on July 16. Adding to the full WSOP schedule
Besides the eight bracelet events offered by WSOP MI, WSOP PA hosts an additional eight events exclusively for its players. WSOP NV/NJ also provides 13 events for their participants. In addition to these 29 events, the World Series of Poker presents a grand total of 88 events at its recently established locations, Bally’s and Paris Las Vegas. To culminate the series, there is a Tournament of Champions.
From May 31 to July 20, the WSOP takes place, offering an array of prestigious tournaments catering to various buy-in levels. Notable events encompass the exhilarating $500 “The Housewarming” during the opening weekend, boasting a guaranteed prize pool of $5 million. Additionally, the widely acclaimed $1,500 “Monster Stack” and “Millionaire Maker” tournaments captivate participants in mid-June. Lastly, the highly anticipated $50,000 Poker Players Championship extends from June 26 to June 30.
Starting on Sunday, July 3, the $10,000 Main Event will span across 14 days, culminating in the announcement of a World Champion on Saturday, July 16.
Will future WSOP MI online bracelets be won amongst NV and NJ players?
The launch of WSOP MI took place on March 28, right before Michigan officially joined the Multi-State Internet Gaming Agreement (MSIGA) on April 7. The Michigan Gaming Control Board has recently confirmed its participation in the agreement.
Interstate competition with Nevada, New Jersey, and Delaware is now closer than ever.
Currently, Michigan online poker is restricted to players within the state’s borders until WSOP (or another operator) fulfills the MGCB’s prerequisites to initiate interstate poker. As a result, these events are limited to participants located solely within Michigan.
Once the requirements are fulfilled, the WSOP MI tournament pools can combine with those from Nevada and New Jersey, resulting in even bigger fields and prize pools. Additionally, this merger will offer players in the Midwest a more convenient opportunity to take part.
One of the greatest benefits is that it could potentially serve as a guide for other states to legalize online poker and join in.
